Cleveland, Ohio (October 26, 2023) – Veritable Screening needs the assistance of auditors in nuclear background screening to prepare for a NEI 03-02 audit scheduled for completion in December 2023.
The Cleveland-based company, which recently entered the nuclear background screening marketplace, will host a roundtable on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM EST (click here to register) for auditors that perform NEI 03-02 assessments on Contract Vendors and Background Investigation companies.
Veritable Screening will present its current procedures for processing background checks during the online roundtable discussion. Transparent and collaborative feedback from auditors is vital in getting the company ready for the upcoming NEI 03-02 audit, said President David K. Reed, who launched the nationally accredited firm’s nuclear vertical in July 2023.
The screening firm has already been working with the (NEI) in planning for audit requirements outlined in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)/NEI regulations (03-02) –.
“We have staff that have completed these audits as part of a vendor audit program for suppliers to the nuclear industry,” said Reed. “Audit standards are consistently changing based on hot topics such as data security and data protection. Veritable will present what we have prepared for the audit and have auditors share their best practices to determine if there is room for improvement.”
The one-hour roundtable is a fundamental first step for Veritable Screening as it prepares to work in the nuclear screening market. Completing the audit by January 2024 will allow the company to do business in the nuclear industry, led by a staff of executive leaders alongside a case management team with over 30 years of federal screening expertise.
